The agriturismo is located in the heart of the Trentino region, in Val di Cembra (640 AMSL), in a central, dominant position with the Dolomites as a backdrop: it offers panoramic views over the valley and is surrounded by vineyards, apple orchards and woods.

The agriturismo is the ideal starting point for excursions in the countryside and nearby woods, either on foot or by mountain bike. On the property itself, from the garden with vegetable patch, it is possible to walk along the “Apple Trail”, which features 52 traditional varieties of apples and several other fruit trees.

Nearby, there are many wineries and distilleries, where you can taste and buy the most famous still and sparkling wines and grappas from the Trentino region, the nature trail between Mancabrot and Lac de Montesel, the Pyramids of Segonzano, the Lago Santo lake, the Roccolo del Sauch tree sculpture, the Dolomites, the Buonconsiglio Castle, Castel Thun and the “Museo degli usi e costumi della gente trentina” ethnographic museum.

The agriturismo is located 15 km from Trento and 40 km from Bolzano.

Agritur Maso Pomarolli, a small piece of Heaven

The Maso Pomarolli farm stands in the heart of the Cembra valley, in the very middle of the Trentino region, at just one kilometre away from the village Palù di Giovo, famous place of birth of champions of Italian cycling such as the Moser brothers and Gilberto Simoni.

The farm stands on a natural terrace on the right bank of the valley, just fifteen kilometres away from Trento. In such a strategic location, immersed in the charming Alpine landscape, it enjoys all the beauty and features of the Dolomiti mountain range area.

Among the terraced vineyards that produce the Muller-Thurgau wine, there are countless paths that cross fields and conifer woods, towards the characteristic mountain lakes; then they go down to the plain, along the bed of the Avisio stream, close to its outlet into the Adige river.

Not faraway are located the famous Segonzano Pyramids, a real masterpiece of the nature itself.

Their origin comes from the erosion of the rain, throughout the millenniums.

Their slim shapes lit by the sunset light offer an amazing and unforgettable view, thanks to the characteristic colour of pastel pink (the Enrosadira) that made this valleys famous; the sunset rays give this amazing colour to the impressive rocks of the Dolomiti mountains that surround, not faraway, these valleys.

In this corner of Trentino, the nature is the protagonist.

The nature itself is the core of everyday life at the Maso Pomarolli farm. The surrounding areas offer almost any time delicious vegetables and fruits, and what to say about the home-made wine, that has in its drops all the tastes and scents of the life-style and traditions typical in the Cembra Valley?

Nevertheless, the range of events scheduled in the nearby of the farm is very wide. Just to give some examples, you can enjoy the Muller-Thurgau stands, a cycling with Francesco Moser, a national wine-show such as Vinart, or the always appreciated Grape Festival and the “Open Wine-Cellars” events, a good chance to learn about the wine production in the cellars.
